LocalTea is a Dutch producer of tea with its own plantation in Zundert and has the ambition to offer ‘the better cup tea’. The tea comes from a tea plant that can grow on European soil; LocalTea is the first European grower to succeed in growing a hardy tea plant. The tea is therefore locally grown, sustainable, fresh and tasty.

InspiraFarms supplies cooling solutions to farmers and brokers in tropical regions in Africa and Central America. As a result, they can charge a higher price and have to throw away fewer fresh products. This allows them to double their income. The cooling solution is a container that is connected to the energy grid and/or supplied with solar panels.

Seepje is a 100% plant-based and Fairtrade detergent that encourages people to do their laundry in the most sustainable and fair way possible. Seepje contributes directly to nature conservation in Nepal through the use of soapnuts, which prevents the felling of trees and improves the living conditions of the Nepalese employees.

With this financing, Frontier Markets is expanding its sales and distribution network of renewable energy products in rural India.
