Orbisk is an impact-driven start-up that combats food waste in corporate catering and catering establishments. Orbisk is developing an image recognition technology with the help of artificial intelligence to map food waste in the hospitality industry. With this technology, a camera above a waste bin and a scale in a restaurant kitchen, restaurants can measure exactly how much food they throw away per day. This allows them to save many kilos of food per year. The image recognition technology not only measures how much food restaurants throw away, but also what is thrown away. This provides insights that chefs and buyers can use to adjust their purchasing, stock management and menus.

ZonHub
Zonhub is the largest crowdfunding platform for solar energy projects in the Netherlands. The platform makes it possible for everyone to take part in the energy transition, even those without their own roof or solar panels. Citizens can easily invest in sustainable energy projects from companies, schools or institutions. At the same time, project owners can quickly and easily apply for funding through Zonhub.

TommyTomato
TommyTomato delivers hot lunches to schools to help children eat healthier together in the classroom. Meals are vegetarian, whole grain and seasonal. TommyTomato works with sustainable packaging and social workplaces. And thus contributes to a healthy, sustainable and socially inclusive world.

Veridis
Veridis has developed an innovative technology (“MADSCAN”) crucial for parties in the chain to achieve high-quality recycling possible. This technology can provide a stable, high-quality better recyclate that can be recycled more often and can be used in a high-quality way. Veridis thus provides a important contribution towards a circular chain and an alternative for the use of fossil raw materials.

AM Flow
AM Flow develops 3D printing software that allows consumers to easily realize designs themselves. With its improved ease of use, Borges is helping to take the 3D printing market to the next stage. 3D printing changes production processes, reduces transport and reduces the use of raw materials.

Makers Unite
Makers Unite is a social enterprise that designs and produces sustainable clothing and merchandise for companies and other customers with newcomers. From a studio in Amsterdam, they also run a program where newcomers are linked to (creative) companies and organizations and thus helped a step further with their integration in the Netherlands.
