SELCO Foundation uses renewable energy as a means to socially and economically strengthen marginalized communities in India. They do this by developing, financing and bringing innovations such as sewing machines, grain processors and solar-powered medicine coolers to the end user. In addition, SELCO ensures that favorable government policy is created, knowledge and training hubs are developed and that the most important stakeholders in the sector are connected to each other. In this way, SELCO Foundation is building a complete ecosystem for innovation in India and beyond.
