Iwell
Making social housing more sustainable, especially in high-rise buildings, is getting off to a slow start. Housing corporations need permission from 70% of the residents in high-rise buildings before they can realize large-scale sustainable energy. iwell offers an accessible intervention that allows housing associations (and commercial landlords) to get started with sustainability right away: a battery system specifically developed for high-rise buildings, which stores sustainable energy locally and meets peak demand. The consent of the residents is not required to make the central facilities (including general lighting, water pressure and lift) more sustainable. Housing corporations can therefore get started right away and residents save directly on their service costs.
