CrowdBuilding makes collective homebuilding easy and sustainable

The platform helps groups of people develop their own affordable, sustainable homes together.

CrowdBuilding brings together future residents, municipalities, experts, financiers and other stakeholders on a single online platform. Here, they can find available building sites, practical knowledge, legal documents and tools to help set up a collective housing project. This makes collective self-build housing more accessible for people who want to build and live together.
Building more sustainably
Collective housing projects often consciously choose biobased and circular building materials, such as wood. This results in significantly lower CO₂ emissions compared to conventional construction. Towards 100,000 homes
CrowdBuilding aims to scale up collective self-build housing to 100,000 homes by 2035. As a steward-owned company, it prioritizes long-term social impact over profit maximization. By sharing knowledge and encouraging collaboration, CrowdBuilding aims to make collective building the new standard.
